Yogyakarta -Special Region of Yogyakarta, the National Unity and Political Agency organizes the activities of fostering cultural integration. Delegations from various universities in Yogyakarta were also involved in activities, & nbsp; Including 3 student delegates from BEM KM, namely Saudari Eka Cahyati Putri (BK), Patrius Kia Bolly (Historical Education), and Wahyudin (Informatics). Lasts for 3 days from 23-25 October 2019 in the Sermo Hargowilis Kokap Kulonprogo Tourism Village.
The material provided is related to culture such as culture from Yogyakarta which is filled directly by Ki Sutikno, a Yogyakarta culturalist, the philosophy of Unity in Diversity and the debriefing of Unity in Diversity cadres in terms of intelligence based IQ and EQ given in 2 material sessions are guided directly by UGM Psychology Lecturer Pak Surono.
Cultural Integration Development was followed by various students, each representing the provinces in Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke with the aim of increasing relations and maintaining the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia to realize the power of Tunggal Bhineka Ika. Students live in a homestay and socialize directly with the surrounding community, & nbsp; introduced and trained with various gamelan and dance which was then immediately staged on the second day of the activity.
The direct view of the Sermo Reservoir makes the participants of the activity really enjoy and integrate with nature because the place of implementation of the activity takes place right in the tourist area of the Sermo Reservoir. Enthusiastic was seen when participants were divided into several groups to visit the home industry in the village including ant sugar, crispy fish, making tiwul and various other production. The expectation of the implementation of this activity is to be able to print Unity in Diversity cadres to maintain the unity and integrity of the Republic of Indonesia in the millennial era. (ECP)
