Improve employee performance and professionalism

Yogyakarta PGRI University on 12-13 September 2019 then held an employee training in the UPY Auditorium with the theme & LDQUO; Humanism Glocal Entrepeneur & RDQUO;. The special training for new employees was attended by 102 participants from educators and education staff from the 2016-2019 class which was held for 2 days. The event was opened directly by the Chairman of the UPY YP, Armansyah Prasakti SH SPN MH.

Chairperson of YP UPY welcomed this training activity and hoped that the implementation of training would run smoothly and successfully until the completion of all activities. & ldquo; both lecturers and employees all have responsibilities, so let’s work together optimally and give the best to go to a neat and superior UPY. & RDQUO, said Armansyah.

In his remarks, the Chairperson of the Training Committee, Meilany Nonsi SSI MT explained & LDQUO; this training aims to improve the ability and professionalism of services at UPY. & RDQUO; Referring to Upy’s vision and mission to become a superior tertiary institution, of course, service is something important, especially in an agency. & ldquo; we must work professionally by providing good and optimal service, so let’s welcome this activity with enthusiasm and happy & rdquo; he continued.

In the activity, training participants also explained how the long history of PGRI Yogyakarta University (UPY) which was a change from IKIP PGRI Yogyakarta which was established since 1962 and changed to PGRI University Yogyakarta on June 25, 1997. explained Drs John Sabari MSi & LDQUO; that in the process of development until he reached a fairly mature age this institution experienced ups and downs including moving buildings before finally having its own building. Listening to the history of UPY’s development may be taken very high values ​​of paedagogis, namely the values ​​of heroism, patriotism, nationalism and selfless struggle and hard work. With provisions and capital resources that are very limited, but UPY is able to survive and develop. Even with a strong determination and unyielding spirit of founding fathers , even though the development of this institution experienced ups and downs, but in the end it reached the level of development as it is today. & LDquo; explained John Sabari. There are also special material for education staff (employees) and educators (lecturers) who are also packaged in the form of games as training in the cooperation of a team also increases creativity.

Rector of UPY, Dr. Ir Paiman MP, emphasized & ldquo; we must have the same direction, have the same perception and do work together for a neat and superior upy & rdquo;.
