In commemoration of a decree on the privilege of Yogyakarta, the Jogja Museum Expo 2022 & Nbsp; On August 15-19, 2022 at Sleman City Hall. The exhibition entitled “Ujwalita” with the sub-entitled “Celebrating Diversity and Strengthening the Privileges” Displays Museum collections that have been selected to respond to the moment of a decade of Yogyakarta.
The privilege in this case began with the emergence of the Kingdom of Mataram in the 16th century which was followed by various cultural and political events, including the emergence of the Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat Sultanate and Pakualaman Duchy.
UPY History Laboratory Museum (UPY History Museorium) participated in the activity. UPY’s historical museorium brought several collections to be displayed at this exhibition, while the collection on display was a miniature of the white pal, miniature gilig golong monument, maja fruit, papyrus paper and Tutankhamun paintings.
Chair of the Yogyakarta PGRI University History Education Study Program, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Biresyada, M.Pd expressed his expectations to educate the public to understand historical values. The museum is not only an exhibition of existing collections but is also further as a medium of learning history for students and people who are active and fun.
